Biography

I got the best Christmas present when I was 10 – a camera!  It sparked a creative fire in me that still burns brightly.  I’m a fine art photographer, specializing in nature and abstract photography.   Some of my favorite places to hang out with my camera are gardens and the beach.  Creating beautiful photos is my soul work.  I get lost in nature, capturing the colors, lines, textures, and details that are only see with the creative eye when we slow down – and really connect with Mother Nature.

Did you know that looking at and enjoying nature-inspired art actually lowers blood pressure, increased productivity, and fosters creativity in the workplace?  And it can do the same in the home.  How cool is that?!

I offer wall art in various sizes and mediums, such as traditional canvas gallery wraps, dramatic metal prints, and sleek acrylic prints.  Whether you need to splash some color on your wall to brighten up your space, create a focal point (and conversation starter) where you entertain, or add some art to elevate your ambiance, I’m happy to help match you with the piece that fits your needs.

I also work with art consultants, home stagers, interior designers, and others who know the value of having art that entertains the eyes, and that stirs the soul.

I’m thrilled to have had many pieces on display (and ribbon) at the annual juried art exhibit for the San Diego County Fair.  Most recently, I was also honored to be one of the featured photographers in the 3rd annual edition of ICM Photo Magazine, which honors the craft of creating beautiful abstract photos in-camera, through movement and light.  I continue to delve into this specific method of “painting with light” as it takes an image to the core of the color and lines, leaving a soft impression that’s open to the viewer’s interpretation.

Photography also gets me traveling, in search of visual adventures!  Some of my favorite places I’ve been include Ireland, Puerto Rico, and Colorado in the fall.  I have a bucket list about 9 miles long, so stay tuned for more.
