Born and raised in Southern California, Jaimee has a passion for the beauty and history of her home state that began with her family spending a month out of every year traveling across the Western region of the United States in a tiny camper. Her love of nature and appreciation for the history of the land is rooted in these extensive childhood travels. The travel bug stayed with her into adulthood and she enjoys finding new places and people to visit across the world. She is currently writing a novel of Young Adult fantasy inspired by the history and landscape of California. She has written several book reviews for Children’s Media and Book Review as well as served on the nonprofit of her childrens’ school for the past eight years, lending her skills for grant writing, business, and media content.
A driving force for Jaimee is to help lift the voices in her community and contribute to an open dialogue that can improve and empower all people. She finds that stories are a way for people to engage with and relate to each other. She believes that a good writer can find the story in any situation and she is here to help you lift your voice and find your story, in life and in business.
